Put the ergo on before you get out of the car, and then like the poster right below you mentioned...loosen the straps, put baby in, tighten straps.

So I put the insert in before the baby too? At home I lay the baby into the insert and then put the whole thing into the ergo. Maybe I have to wait until she's bigger to attempt ergo from the car thing. [/quote]

Lay the insert on the front seat, take the baby out of the car seat, lay her in the insert, pick up the insert and put her in the ergo.[/quote]
