Easy. Self defense. This whole racial tension started with Obama publicly siding with T Martins family. His administration interfered and tried filing federal charges. Then he does the same thing in MO after Thug M Brown repeatedly attacked an Officer. All these BLM are racist Thugs taking up causes in cases where Thugs were clearly the issue. Cop Killings ! Laughable considering most victims are white. Skin color has nothing to do with all the bad incompetent pieces of shit cops in the Departments Just to get this off my chest. My great great grandfather a Union Soldier with a New Jersey Volunteer Unit was killed in action outside Atlanta while attempting to free slaves. I want to know where my reparations are and scores of other whites that died to free them. Idiots. BLM is nothing but a hateful totally racist group with some very ignorant dumb shit white people thrown in. This is why I'm voting Trump. No more PC. They want to call me cracker , I'll call them N
So much ignorance, so little time. Even if someone is killed as a result of self-defense, it doesn't mean their life didn't matter. It is a tragic loss if even a justifiable one. Moreover, there have been many documented cases of "self-defense" being very questionable. Why is it that in an open carry state such as Ohio, black people, even children, are shot on sight by the police? It is funny that you believe "racial tension" started with Obama as if there had never been racial tension in the history of the world prior to that. Apparently in your mind, slavery didn't cause racial tension. The civil rights movement didn't provoke racial tension. The Republican "southern strategy" that explicitly evoked white fears didn't involve racial tension. The Willy Horton ad run against Dukakis had nothing to do with racial tension. Jesse Helm's running a campaign ad showing a white man losing a job to a black man was about something other than racial tension. South Carolina Republicans who ran a smear campaign agains John McCain for having a black child weren't counting on racial tensions. Nope, no racial tensions anywhere, ever, before Obama. In particular, those people who were calling Obama a Kenyan Muslim before he was even elected were not feeling even a hint of racial tension. Brown didn't repeatedly attack the police officer. He was 20 feet away from him when he was shot multiple times and killed. It is the sad history of the Civil War that the Union did not go to war with the aim of freeing the slaves. Whatever family mythology may have developed around your great great grandfather, the military for which he fought was attempting to end a rebellion and reject succession. While we appreciate the service of all who have served in our military, I'm not sure why you expect any special consideration as a result. If your great great grandfather had been a slave owner, you would not accept any special blame. I think your true feelings regarding race are clarified by your last sentence. You simply can't wait for an excuse to use the n-word. The fact that you can't do that now must be particularly aggravating to you.
