Dumb question: I realize "holistic" can mean many things, but for the purposes of this thread, does it refer solely to vaccine scheduling?
I think that may be part of it, but also willing to explore treating minor illnesses naturally, within reason, and not jumping to antibiotics, etc. Maybe more willing to work with moms trying to breastfeed without pushing formula.
Huh. Well, in that case, I can recommend Dr. Michelle Barnes Marshall. She absolutely supported breastfeeding without being militant about it, and frequently refers mothers to the Breastfeeding Center. She does not jump to prescribing medication. She prescribed my daughter antibiotics once, for a combinations of pneumonia and an ear infection, but has never suggested them for the run-of-the-mill fevers, colds, coughs, and assorted kid illnesses. We love her. I don't know her attitude on vaccines--I suspect she's not cool with a full "alternative schedule," but might be willing to space out shots if you stayed on the overall schedule. She's very pro-vaccine, though (as she should be).
