You are jumping to conclusions. Not surprising. My point is the people in Sweden feel lied to, helpless and like sitting ducks, and therefore people are taking matters into their own hands. This is NOT good. Liberal governments created this problem and are now not supporting their own citizens. The net results are backlash attacks. What did y'all expect?  Kumbaya moments?  Conservatives have been saying that this would occur. It now is starting. I'd advise you liberals to get your heads out of your butts and recognize what you are creating. It won't end well[/quote]

You explicitly said that you couldn't blame the masked neo-Nazis who are beating Muslim children. I might have jumped to a conclusion, but I jumped to the correct one. It is amazing how right-wingers are never responsible for their actions. They take over a federal wildlife refuge -- it's the government's fault. Another group beats children -- it's the liberals fault. Can you give me one of your speeches about personal responsibility? I need a good laugh.

Exploring is one thing, providing justifications is quite different. This is a great thread to illustrate the difference. I -- like everyone else -- think the Metro beatdowns are wrong. I -- like everyone else -- think that those who commit beatdowns should be punished. Where I differ with some posters is that I think a long term solution involves addressing root causes whereas others think long prison terms are the answer. In this case, the OP is not simply interested in the motivations of the attackers -- she actually agrees with them. I was constantly accused of "blaming the victim" even though that was not the case. This poster is explicitly blaming the victims.
