I actually feel bad for her. She was duped by PETA and HSUS--organizations that she thought were benevolent because of the Sarah McLachlan music and dirty dogs quivering in their cages. And now she looks ignorant, and is probably ashamed, when she thought she was making the world a better place. I'm sorry, OP. The activist organizations manipulated you to meet their end game, and then abandoned you.
