It's work.[/quote] This depends a lot on industry, personalities, whether you're a cool guy or not, etc. I made partner mostly by developing close personal relationships with a few key guys, and a lot of that came from going out together and hitting the bars pretty hard. I would never trust a junior colleague who follows the "one drink and treat it like work" approach. Relax, dude.
