Orange cranberry relish--the best. http://www.oceanspray.com/Recipes/Corporate/Sauces,-Sides-Salads/Fresh-Cranberry-Orange-Relish.aspx
Yes! I have had this every Thanksgiving since I was a little girl. It is simple and delicious. It is best if made a day in advance.
Same here, though we tweak the recipe slightly to add one granny smith apple in addition to the orange and only a half cup of sugar. This plus the cooked cranberry sauce I make (with red wine, mulling spices, and crystalized ginger) are my favorite sides. Though I do love the stuffing too. And the mashed potatoes and gravy. All of it really.
Do you eat this as a standalone, or is it a topping for other dishes, like mashed potatoes or turkey (ie, is or more like a gravy)? It sounds delicious!
