The comment about converting him to Team Hillary was nothing more than a flip comment. You do realize that (sadly) my 8 year old can't vote in the primary, right? And that's disappointing given that he's probably more politically astute than many adults.

PS - Child actors (and that's what they are) are sadly exploited every day. That's on their parents and the industry. Are you similarly concerned about all the kids on tv shows on disney and nickelodeon? What about the kids in the Bad News Bears who used potty mouth language? I don't feel badly for those kids--they'll probably use this as a launching pad into something else. Both are super cute and clearly have stage presence...as most child actors do.
