If anything, this video will have people voting for Trump more than ever. As much as I dislike him, if he is the frontrunner, I will. We do not need people breaking our laws, and then telling us to fuck off when we call them on it. It is obvious that their offspring are learning the same thing-anchor baby or not. And yes, they are nothing more than anchor babies.....not just the hispanic ones, but all of them.
OMG. Your racist rant and ridiculous attempt at justifying your hateful beliefs are precisely why I would feel like a failure if my kid grew up to be a republican. Thanks for your post--I can't wait to show it to my kids as it presents a great teachable moment.
Are you from the DC metro area? If so, what's your highest level of education? Just curious.
Just wondering if your third grader attends a school that is over 50% minority-in particular Hispanics. Move to Langley Park and get back to me. By the way-Ivy Educated with a PhD.
Oh, so it's okay to be a racist if you are an ivy educated white person living in Langley Park. Who knew?
Question: how does an ivy educated white person end up in Langley Park? Just curious what life choices prompted that. And wondering if your racism is a product of misplaced anger/disappointment?
For the record, I happen to like LP. Great restaurants.
My 8 year old understands why MoCo and PG have a thriving Latino population due to the politics and violence in Mexico, El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras over the last two decades. Do you?

Wow. What a vile society we are becoming.

And I stand by it. I have four kids, and if any of them grow up to be republicans then I will feel like I failed to instill the moral foundation that my husband and I hope they will have. Politics matter in a big way IMHO...ymmv. I work in the policy advocacy arena in a social justice type job. My kids know this. They understand what I do and how the government impacts my work. We talk about politics and social justice a lot. They ask a lot of questions, and we don't shy away from conversation. Sometimes we debate.
The comment about converting him to Team Hillary was nothing more than a flip comment. You do realize that (sadly) my 8 year old can't vote in the primary, right? And that's disappointing given that he's probably more politically astute than many adults.
PS - Child actors (and that's what they are) are sadly exploited every day. That's on their parents and the industry. Are you similarly concerned about all the kids on tv shows on disney and nickelodeon? What about the kids in the Bad News Bears who used potty mouth language? I don't feel badly for those kids--they'll probably use this as a launching pad into something else. Both are super cute and clearly have stage presence...as most child actors do.
That's really a shame. I am a strong conservative and I do not feel I failed because my son is supporting Sanders. I feel that he has done his research and supports him for reasons that make sense to him. I also know that as he grows up, that might change. Then again, it might not. I still won't feel like a failure - I will feel like a parent who has raised her kids to think for themselves.
I'm not sure you see your own bias. I'm not surprised by that. Liberals like yourself are some of the most extreme thinkers out there, while blaming conservatives like myself for being narrow-minded.
Making excuses for the behavior of Hollywood regarding the exploitation of kids? I take it you support Roman Polanski as well?
