If you lived in Langley Park I doubt you would say the population is "thriving". I'm surprised you set foot over there to get a taco. I live in Mclean-we are likely neighbors....and I am not white (how "racist" of you to assume that). You also make it seem like no one with an Ivy degree should live in LP-why? What is wrong with illegals and their anchor babies?

You should read The Wonderful O by James Thurber..Its very short. You could tackle it in an afternoon. Its about what happens when we start eliminating expression arbitrarily . In the case of Wonderful.O, all Os are removed because the pirate captain's mom fell through a porthole that reminds him of 'Os'. So you would be happy: "Anchor baby" would be out. So would "love" "valor" "courage " and "hope". Me go now.

Good thing there are "Safe Spaces" all over college campuses. Hopefully they will be able to integrate such spaces into all of society-we are going to need them.

Are you similarly concerned about all the kids on tv shows on disney and nickelodeon? What about the kids in the Bad News Bears who used potty mouth language? I don't feel badly for those kids--they'll probably use this as a launching pad into something else. Both are super cute and clearly have stage presence...as most child actors do.

I feel that he has done his research and supports him for reasons that make sense to him. I also know that as he grows up, that might change. Then again, it might not. These two sets of comments are an excellent illustration of the difference between Liberal (current US left, which believes that anyone who opposes them is some combination of mean, stupid, and evil) and liberal (in the traditional sense).

I definitely have a bias. I believe that politics matter and that the republicans on the hill are doing a great disservice to our country. Their actions (and inaction) harm people. There is a stark difference between liberals and conservatives today. As such, I feel it's critically important to educate my children about each party. Some people indoctrinate their children in a religion; I suppose I'm providing them with a strong political foundation in a way that some folks provide a religious foundation. (For the record, my kids are being raised with a religious foundation as well.)

I'm not a fan of Hollywood's exploitation of child actors. But as someone who is big on personal and parental responsibility, I place the blame squarely on the parents. I certainly wouldn't put my kids out there on a stage, but I won't throw rocks at the kids in this video. And your Roman Polanski line is just ridiculous.
