Tens of millions of taxpayer dollars wasted on "select committee" witch hunts that run longer than any in history yet which utterly fail to reveal any new findings and which turn out to be a complete flop...

And their prior legacy before just becoming the party of inquisitions and obstructions and shutdowns was tax cuts for the rich and policies that favor banks and the megacorporates that only served to make the rich richer and greedier while making wages stagnate for the rest of us, even though productivity has continued to climb - trickle down economic policy where nothing ever trickles down.
