My childhood best friend died in her sleep at age 12; the autopsy concluded that she had a previously undetected heart condition. My mother was an elementary school teacher for almost 40 years & during that time 2 of her former students died very suddenly, also of undetected heart conditions, when they were in middle school. One collapsed while running around the track during PE & the other while walking home from school. [/quote]
