It's an Old Testament story, but yes, it is one that Christians are taught.[/quote] Of course different religions have different opinions about what the "whole bible" consists of. For example, for Christians, Genesis is a book in the Old Testament. For Jews, Bereshit is a book in the Torah. In any case, Christians do not have a monopoly on the text (whatever name you may give it) that the story of Cain and Abel is in.[/quote]
