I know one of the lawyers who directly worked so tirelessly to free the savage from Guantanamo. You think she's still pleased with her "success"?
OR... maybe being locked away in Guantanamo is one of the factors that helped lead him to become the insane, evil radical he is? This is a pattern I have read about other Islamic radicals- even if they are not so extreme when they enter prison, the conditions they endure solidifies their violent views.
Of course. It's ALWAYS our fault
Isis did not exist before the Iraq war. It was invented becaus of the war. And for the second time he was not locked up in gizmo. He was briefly detained by the army in Iraq and released in 2004.
There is dispute about the date. 2009 is more likely as boots on the ground place it there. Obama created ISIS by arming the 'moderate' Syrian rebels and thus putting weapons right in the hands of ISIS: http://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2015/05/19/new_documents_cia__state_dept_knew_weapons_were_moving_from_benghazi_libya_to_isis_in_syria_via_turkey.html
Haha, you are on the loony train. ISIS was initially created as Al Qaeda in Iraq. There is no dispute that this was years before Obama took office.
Let's not exaggerate and let's get the facts. The roots of ISI was set in October of 2006. That's ISI, not ISIS. After two of the leaders were killed at different times there were changes that occurred and ISIS was formed in 2010 in Syria. No doubt that al-Qaeda has been an integral part of both but this evolution with various groups as a part of it makes your declaration wrong. Mr. Obama was just as wrong as Bush using terms like “on the run,” “decimated” and “on their heels” Well, they have been hit but they have returned to a strength that is rather frightening and have taken areas of Iraq and taken control of weapons from the Iraqi's...some of which were just handed to them. So, under Mr. Obama's watch they have gone from weakened to a serious threat to the whole region.
