NCS is sending 20 of 78 girls to ivies next year, 1 to Stanford, 4 to Amherst, 2 to Northwestern, 5 to U Chicago and 5 to UVA.... that is about half the class to these very, very top schools (not just top schools like the other NESCAC schools, UMichigan, Notre Dame, UCLA etc.). I am certain that some of these kids have GPAs around 3.2 and are in at the very best schools.
this is absolutely not true
This is absolutely true, I know NCS extremely well... Just looking at the pure ivies plus stanford there is 1 stanford 1 brown 1 yale 4 dartmouth 5 cornell 4 penn 2 princeton... so it is 18 not 20, but 18 out of 78 to ivies. Then the "non ivy ivies" there are 4 at Amherst, 2 to Northwestern, I think the final UChiacgo was only 3 since students got off wait lists elsewhere and 5 at my last count to UVA, 2 to Davidson, 1 to Duke, 1 to Georgetown... so that is 33 of 78 to the very top schools if you count places like Davidson and Duke as very top.
