Oh, I definitely don't have the cash to mail the baby gift - it'd be way too much money. 
My skills are office work - like office assistant. Landlord is a building - the guy who owns the building hired a management company. I will check Amazon and Hilton for work from home jobs - thank you so much for the tip. [/quote]

Have you tried working for temp agencies?  That is always my fall back. You get paid weekly and often it turns into a permanent position if you are really good at what you do and people like you. Register for a few at a time and you will always be in circulation. Request long term assignments. I also used to earn extra money being a secret shopper. Also try the site 5er to sell your skills. Come on, you have get some hustle. Explain your situation to your landlord and ask if you can help our around the complex in exchange for reduced rent until you get back on your feet. If you don't mind retail I saw Five Below and some other stores are hiring since all of the kids are going back to school after the summer.
