OP here, what do you mean by that?  Do you mean the paint chips off or that the car looks dated quickly?[/quote]

PP here. To me, they look dated pretty quickly, but of course that's a personal thing. I went into car buying firmly intent on buying a used entry level "luxury" car, but felt that most of the Infinitis just did not age well compared to BMW and Audis. I looked at ten year old BMWs and was flabbergasted at how modern and fresh they looked.

That was on the outside of course. After I researched the cars and reliability, I wouldn't touch a ten year old BMW with a ten foot pole. I really enjoy my BMW 3 series and its fun to drive, but I wouldn't own one past the initial four year warranty period.  The starter had to be replaced three weeks into ownership, with only 300 miles on the odometer. No it didn't cost me anything, but it was a pain and a disappointment to have to have your brand new car in for maintenance for a week. [/quote]
