And the Potomac ES completion date has already been pushed back to 2020.
How many years was the Seneca Valley HS project moved back, one year per year, year after year after year? MCPS does not have enough capital funds to do everything that needs to be done.
Has it been moved back? I thought the first formal date was recently given as 2018, which it currently remains--it's also under capacity. Potomac ES is over capacity, was originally scheduled for 2018 (now 2020) and is housed in a building that is 20+ years older than Seneca. So, I'm not sure what point you're making? The person who originally mentioned Potomac was using its pathetic condition to illustrate the point that the county is not favoring the "rich" schools--you disagree?
I thought that the poster was using the condition of Potomac ES to illustrate the point that the county is disfavoring the schools in rich areas. And yes, there have been many delays for the Seneca Valley HS project. It was originally supposed to be FINISHED in August 2016. http://patch.com/maryland/germantown/parents-don-t-delay-seneca-valley-high-school-upgrades
