Not jealous at all. I much prefer the grass at our school, and honestly would be very concerned about the safety of artificial turf on kids' fields.

Until it's proven completely safe, I'm more than happy to let the rich folks have the turf fields.

Potomac ES is over capacity, was originally scheduled for 2018 (now 2020) and is housed in a building that is 20+ years older than Seneca. So, I'm not sure what point you're making? The person who originally mentioned Potomac was using its pathetic condition to illustrate the point that the county is not favoring the "rich" schools--you disagree?


I thought that the poster was using the condition of Potomac ES to illustrate the point that the county is disfavoring the schools in rich areas.

And yes, there have been many delays for the Seneca Valley HS project. It was originally supposed to be FINISHED in August 2016.

What is the difference between "public land" and "community land"? The government owns the land. That makes it public land.

Why should anybody have any input on the on-goings there? Because it's public land.
