I live in Salt Lake City which has a very high percentage of SAHMs and I don't know any in my circle although I work both outside and inside the home who have not had their kids carpool to some things. The notion that SAHM is equated with your child never riding in a car with anyone else is absurd. At some point most siblings will have an event or practice or game at the same time and this may occur when only you or DH are available and so carpooling becomes necessary.
