Benzoyl peroxide in face creams/washes. Always wash hands with soap after applying and dry on a cheap white hand towel. Also - don't wear it to bed unless you have only white sheets, duvet/quilt [/quote]

my towels and sheets always get these "bleach" stains too - this makes so much sense that it comes from our soaps - thank you for this!  but now, does anyone know how to prevent this (besides changing the types of soap we use)?  Washing hands would work but not when I use the towel to dry my face.   it seems that many people do NOT have this problem, so are you just not using dark colored towels after washing your face/hands? My DH has acne and uses benzoyl peroxide all the time.  We have all white everything.  I got so tired of things getting ruined.  White bathmat, white towels, white sheets, white comforter.  It's boring but much better than having stained ugly towels.[/quote]
