Are you Asian?[/quote] Not OP, not Asian, and I always strip my bed after being an overnight guest in someone's home. I also ask the hostess if she prefers me to start a laundry load with the sheets I just took from my bed or to drop them in a laundry basket for her to deal with later. I also gather any towels that were provided to me together with the bed sheets. To me, it's basic courtesy. To this date, I was never told "Please, do start a laundry load". I was always thanked for taking care of that chore and told it was ok to just leave the whole bundle on the mattress and that it would be laundered later.[/quote]
