So if the job you really want is the one after you finish law school, business school, medical school, or get your PhD, focus on that GPA and (if hard sciences) research. Related jobs /internships along the way are great and can help you stand out from other academically strong students, but if they kill your GPA your internship in college won't get you into grad/professional school[/quote]
