Dr. Nies delivered my baby, she is awesome. I agree with other posts, Fairfax hospital was so/so on their customer service and personal care. My baby stayed in the NICU for a month, and though he received excellent and appropriate care, I was just a number to the staff there. The ATC at Fair Oaks Hospital is very nice!!
Agree the post partum floor of Fairfax is so/so on customer service and personal care because they are so busy and the nurses don't spend too much time with you, but I cannot say enough great things about the ante-partum (high risk pregnancy) unit, as well as the NICU doctors. I spent 11 weeks on HRP under the care of Dr. Khoury and his partners during a very scary situation (there was a question about whether my twins would even make it...THEY DID!). Dr. Khoury and all the nurses, as well as the NICU docs and especially nurses could not have been kinder or more helpful to us. You cannot go wrong at this practice, though I will caution that Dr. Bronsky is very cocky and can be condescending. I figure he has a "god complex" because he's in the business of saving lives. I'm just fine with that because he helped save my babies.
