Kids get teased about absolutely everything - whether your mom is fat, a lesbian, the type of job she has, you name it. So, yes it is fodder for teasing. But there is so much support for gays and lesbians that it's not generally acceptable to tease kids about it. Not OP - just another lesbian who is raising kids with wife in the greater DC area. Been together for decades, but not married until it became legal in DC in 2010. [/quote]
