Not everyone wants to live in a tiny house in an area with poor schools, and be surrounded by a bunch of crunchy hippies. Just because someone is gay, doesn't mean they're a hippie. I looked in Takoma Park when I was buying, and I found the houses to be tiny, the yards sloppily maintained, and the driveways tiny or non-existent. [/quote]

OP here-10 years ago we looked at Takoma park-the homes were tiny (and overpriced), Piney Branch (near Flower Ave) looked like a crowded 3rd world country, and it bordered some questionable looking neighborhoods-I know the schools have decent reps-TPES, TPMS and Blair-but it still does not seem so great to me.   The hippies can be just as annoying as the snobs of Bethesda so a decent mix would be ok-ya know cause "diversity".[/quote]
