Tell the School Resource Officer.
Never came across that title in our school directory. What does the School Resource Officer do and how can they help to keep drugs and alcohol out of school?
It's a montgomery county police officer. Every high school has one. This list is not up to date but you can call your local police district and ask for the SRO. http://www.mymcpnews.com/divisions-2/patrol-services/school-resource-officers/sro/
Do the school resource officers ever speak at assemblies to kids or to the mandatory 10th grade health education classes? It seems that even if no arrests are made, a regular friendly presence of police officers in school would be a deterrent. Even just parking a squad car or two in the front parking lot would cause dealers to think there were police at the school.
