Ebola is one of the most lethal viruses on the planet. There is no vaccine, no cure, and no one is stopping it from spreading. Health officials are making mistake after mistake and downplaying it every chance they can. It is in every body fluid that a human excretes. The symptoms are rapid and severe. This is why people are worried.
And there have been less than 4000 deaths in this outbreak. It's scary, and a tragedy for those affected, but it's not a huge number. Probably 10 times that will die of influenza this year.
Most people who get the flu don't die from it. Not since 1918. Ebola has a kill rate of over 50%. That is why we don't want it in this country. Africa has been dealing with Ebola since 1976 and every epidemic has been getting worse. We do not want to be dealing Ebola on a yearly basis.
