I said sure, but they said some parents don't even want to know about it so they can experience it for themselves (I guess hearing he'd already crawled at daycare would make it less exciting to see it at home?). I missed very few firsts. The only thing that comes to mind is the first time he was able to sit without support...when the daycare worker showed me (she was so excited!), he toppled over after 4 seconds. So like PP said, many things are gradual. And you will still be really excited the first time YOU see him do anything. [/quote]
