OP is correct, he's known the kids longer than her, and they are KIDS and see him as an uncle. I would not want a husband who would toss relationships with children for me - that would have been a deal breaker re: marriage. Why? Because you don't abandon children, even if you are in the supportive uncle role. [/quote]
