I drive from downtown to Columbia Heights back to downtown for my charter school, but I have to agree.  No freaking way would I make this drive.

If you DO decide to take this on, I hope you are in K, so when you drop out you have a backup plan of your IB school.

We live in Brookland and gave up Stoddert soccer b/c of the drive and that's just Saturday mornings.  I cannot imagine driving this every morning...[/quote]

I also know somebody who did the opposite  commute. Live EOTP and her DD goes to a private school in Upper NW. After doing it for a year, she gave up the school. Long story short, she didn't have a life and it drained her physically & mentally. OP mentioned they plan to move closer to the school so hopefully, it will be sooner rather than later. [/quote]
