They are used to that sun all year long, your skin is not. Perhaps your ancestors are from there, but that does not mean your skin is the same as them. An SPF of 10 does nothing. It isn't just one website, it is multiple plus MANY dermatologists. DH is AA and his dad has had several pre-cancerous moles removed. DH's derm said he should be wearing at least a 15 on a daily basis and higher when he's going to be on the beach. I trust his derm/several reputable websites over yours. I'm sorry you can't think beyond what a website is telling you. [/quote]
