I'm the slob.  Yes, I had the same reaction.  Kind of embarassed for all these posters.

Ladies, go hang around with people who are really in their 20s or very early 30s.  You will be shocked.  Because they look a lot younger than you.  I think if the compliment is coming from a fellow old-ster, take it with a huge grain of salt.  Everyone is telling each other what they would like to hear themselves and many of us probably don't see all that many 20-somethings on a day-to-day basis.  (That depends on your job of course, if you work.)[/quote]

Sorry I took ownership of your slob identity!!  I'm 10:51 and I thought the poster was referring to me because I said people were just being polite.
