Actually it isn't off point at all.  Are you suggesting that a "gifted" child (who is shown to be gifted by a WISC) belongs in the program more than a child who got in on appeal when both are getting good grades?  Of course the committee lets in non gifted kids, as it is no longer "GT" but AAP.  Additionally, unless you get a WISC to submit with your application, the committee has no clue who is gifted and who isn't.  YOUR post is the ridiculous one.[/quote]
