I agree.

And she should be concerned that one or more people in this forum are spreading the rumor that the main thrust of [i]her [/i] plan is to drastically reduce the number of OOB students.  Limiting class size may be a part of the plan.  Being selective about the OOB students who enroll may also be part of the plan.  But the rumor that it's the main thing that will appeal to IB families has been prolifically pushed in this forum, complete with some pretty nasty retorts about the "entitlement" of OOB families.  Adding to that is speculation that she's "signalling" her intent with the limited number of OOB seats.  Again, that may be normal and part of any school enrollment plan but the implication that this is a direct appeal to IB families has been reiterated several times over.

As for going to the open house and asking directly, there have been several posts indicating that she's saying one thing publicly and another at separate meetings with IB families.

I'm rolling my eyes on the comment about racism.  If you're one who believes Hardy improvement only comes with demographic overhaul, then don't get upset when others believe that about you, too.   That's definitely going to be the reaction if, as has been repeatedly posted here, the school goes majority IB and remains under-enrolled.  [/quote]
