If that's the case then vote for him if you want. However, I'm my own person and this is a case where I don't believe him. I will not vote for a cheat.  In addition stop giving him credit for plans that were in the works before he became Mayor. I don't  like Rhee but she scarred enough teachers that they began to get their act together. That's the improvement you're witnessing right. Seems to me that Gray kept things status quo. 
I don't care what RACE or gender the mayor is just as long as they bring equal prosperity to the black area too. There's still too much inequality, crime, lack of literacy in he's own residential area for me to give him credit for anything . Black folks wake up and don't vote for someone because they're black if they're not helping the black community.  Any good mayor would bring economic prosperity to the area he lives in too. [/quote]
