you are faster replying to comments on this board than when I call you to fix something in my house. Every time I posted here, 3 minutes later you are back defending the builder, we all know you are the builder or work for them. It's ok, I would just hope you were as fast and responsive when I call with issues and by the way, the noise in not real hardwood (as you claim) is not common to all builders, the Chinese fixtures you put all over the house are not common to all builders, the cheap windows are not common to all builders, putting heat pumps is not common to all builders in this area......
The point is you come on this board to trash the builder. Which is full of false idiotic lies which in turn paints a bad picture of the quality of my house. If you wanted a 2 million dollar house you should've paid for one but if you are buying a house that is reasonably priced don't expect all top of the line gold platted things. How did you not notice all of those things when you bought the house are you blind and stupid? All of the things you mentioned are common with mid-level builders. You are stuck on fixtures? Are you an idiot? Fixtures can be replaced get your lazy ass to home depot and buy some. Windows? Yes they are entry level windows but if you need to get them upgraded you can order the sashes from the manufacturer and DYI it's not that expensive. Flooring? Did you not see the bamboo flooring when you bought it? If you hate it so much get new flooring installed. Heat pump? Go buy a gas one or learn how to properly operate a heat pump one. Point being unless you built the house from the ground up and paid 2 million you won't get top of the line gold plated everything but the home is solid, well designed and an extremely good value for what we paid.
