Anonymous wrote:Your house is crap as all the houses built by these guys, if you are really not the builder, which I doubt, the what are you doing, hanging out on boards trying to save the appraisal on your house? I did pay a lot of money, not too far from $2 million, and if your idea when you buy a new house is to go and replace everything, then you are the stupid one. You have resorted to insults, which clearly show the type of person you are. I come to this board to trash the builder in order to get other people to be aware. When I bought the house I didn't notice all this things otherwise I wouldn't have. I'm learning as I go as I had so many troubles that forced me to understand.
If you are not the builder you really need to get a life, hanging out here all the time has made you a very angry person. I'm just trying to help others, I'm not using this to get anything from anyone.
Enjoy your great bamboo floors that scratch only by looking at them, and hope you can sell your house by lying to other people.
Anonymous wrote:You do not install heat pumps (unless there are specific for cold climates) in DC type of climates in luxury (as you claim) constructions. Closing the condenser means running the system in emergency heat, which the word should be enough to understand that should only be run in emergencies, not because its cold. By doing this, you are heating your house with an electric strip, do you know how much your utility bill will be, I do, because I've been paying it, its a lot. Builder wanted to save some $$ so they installed a heat pump and not a furnace. That goes with pretty much any material in their houses, save money using cheaper products. Of course they are smart and use fancy products where visible (kitchen appliances, sound systems, etc), but in things that people don't pay too much attention or are not qualified to distinguish, they use the cheapest products they can (faucets, toilets, floors, windows, etc)

Every time I posted here, 3 minutes later you are back defending the builder, we all know you are the builder or work for them. It's ok, I would just hope you were as fast and responsive when I call with issues
and by the way, the noise in not real hardwood (as you claim) is not common to all builders, the Chinese fixtures you put all over the house are not common to all builders, the cheap windows are not common to all builders, putting heat pumps is not common to all builders in this area......
