People who don't re-rack weights drive me insane. i also had an annoying experience the other day- gym was really busy and there are only 2 racks for things like squats. someone was doing deadlifts right in front of the rack. and thus blocking/preventing anyone from using the rack.
Lots of people do this at my gym. I don't get the big deal. We have about 5 squat racks but only one mat area to DL. They were probably using the bar off the rack to dead lift anyway so you wouldn't have been able to use it regardless.
my gym only has 2 squat racks which are always in high demand and it was at a very busy time. There is plenty of floor space and 12 different (flat, incline, decline) benched for bench press so plenty of extra bars lying around and floor space to do deadlifts somewhere else. If it wasn't a busy time or if there were a lot of unused racks I wouldn't care, but like i said there are only 2 squat racks and unlike deadlifts which can be done anywhere, you really need a rack for certain exercises.
