I get really drunk about once every couple of years, but for me, even that is too much. Scares me that I lost control, even just once. I'm too old for this shit. OP, take a good hard look in the mirror and ask whether alcohol has a net positive or negative impact on your life. Oh, and for your friend - I think a quick, terse note apologizing for your behavior and thanking him for keeping a clear head would be appropriate. Then focus your energy on your DH. Would he REALLY not care if you cheated? I partly wonder if your drunk self was trying to test whether your DH actually cares about you.[/quote]
