If you were really polite, you would cancel your plane tickets and not travel by air where you will undoubtedly infect other patrons/guests/employees in the airports and on the plane. Face masks decrease but do not eliminate the distribution of contagions. But your holiday is too important to let a little cold interfere with it even if you have to inconvenience many others. Your in-laws probably showed up even if they were sick so that they could spend the Christmas Eve holiday with their son and granddaughter. They figured that a little cold should not stop them from seeing their child and grandchild over the holidays. Yes, they have something planned for January 2, but that's after Christmas and New Year's. Grow up and stop being so selfish.[/quote]
