Good news is that I'm driving back, so I won't have to get on a plane congested. Tomorrow, I should not be congested enough for it to be an issue. My daughter is 17, so the blessing is I won't have to run after her and can relax. Glad I booked a nice resort!

Seems to me that your ire should be primarily reserved for your husband.  He invited his inconsiderate relatives over to the house on Christmas eve even though you and DD were leaving on a trip soon.  He hates to travel so you all haven't been on vacation in five years. You don't even mention that he's going this time so I gather you finally are going without him.  You probably are pretty sick of the whole clan by now.  Not that I blame you, OP, but you need to put the blame where it truly lies.
