Parents don't OWN their adult children and your children should not live for you. I actually find what you wrote alarming enough to say, please seek therapy ASAP. This is a dangerous view to have about your own children. They are separate individuals. They don't owe you anything because you chose to have sex. If you provided a loving and nurturing home than I would hope they would show appreciation and be loving, but you are not entitled to anything just because you brought a child into the world.
