Why are white people afraid of using a name (European in origin I might add) simply because they associate it with black Americans? It's one thing if you don't like the sound of a name, but to steer away from it for the sole reason that you think others would assume your child is a different race -- what kind of depressing statement does that make about these posters, and our country, that this is perceived as a negative?
