Good lord, woman! [/quote] The parents could have given medicine, but miralax can take a few days to kick in. Also, I'm pretty sure NO preschooler is going to quietly take a suppository. So personally, I would never dream of bringing one to the school and using it on my kid. I kind of think that pp's statement, that seem harsh, are just reminding us that our kids are pretty resilient and that while of course it's difficult to see (or hear from a teacher) that your child is upset, at the end of the day, he'll be okay. And at some point we want our kids to develop coping mechanisms apart from us, right? [/quote]
