[/quote] If you send your child during the day to somewhere that is staffed by teachers, you can't get upset that they act like teachers and not parents. If you want your child to be comforted when upset and to have someone acting in the role of parent, then you either need to have a parent home or someone in loco parentis (aka a nanny). [/quote] Even if a child is just homesick and crying, which is common if not normal, they are trying to comfort him or her at least for a while, isn't it the case? [/quote]
