OP, I never, ever wore foundation but finally in my 30s felt like I needed the coverage.  For a foundation newbie-- especially if you want a very natural look-- try Prescriptives Virtual Skin.  It's a medium coverage foundation, but Prescriptives also makes an even lighter, more sheer foundation which is lovely on your skin if you don't need the coverage.  You can only order online, as they closed all their dept store counters.  (They were going to shut down the whole line, but popular demand was so high that they continued manufacturing their products and continue as an online store.) They have very helpful phone and online service help and you can return anything for any reason, any time.  Highly recommend.  BTW, my skin is very sensitive/allergic and breaks out easily, and this stuff is great.  Great for young skin and older skin.  (Now I have wrinkles to go along with my acne!)[/quote]
