[/quote] Pretty normal, I think. I mean, they grab EVERYTHING and put it in their mouths. It's a little baby step to figuring out which end of the spoon is tasty, right? Or perhaps just trying to control whatever new thing it is I'm sticking in her mouth. Anyway, my 6-month old does it too! Maybe your friend was surprised because it looked like she was really feeding herself? That would be pretty advanced behavior, I think.[/quote]
