OP again. I really want to try with my own eggs first. The responses have certainly been eye opening. I guess I was thinking that since it was easy for me at 39 (which certainly is not young), that my fertility must be pretty good. I will contact GW and CFA. I guess I will try dominion too? I am confused about whether or not I could do the natural IVF with someone at my age. I may be open to DE if my own eggs don't work but am not quite ready for that yet.
NP here. 43. I also get pg very easily with my own eggs. Eight miscarriages later we are moving on to donor eggs w/a surrogate. (It's not for everyone but I couldn't take another miscarriage.) We also did IVF w/PGD but all of our embryos were bad. Not a single good one. Even if you get a "good" one, there's no guarantee that you'll end up with a pregnancy and a live birth because PGD only tests one cell and may not pick up flaws in the rest of the cells. (That's why it's not generally recommended for uses other than screening for known genetic issues like Tay-Sachs.) I agree with the pps that IVF may not help that much, even with PGD, and it will be very, very costly. I would suggest trying naturally or doing a few cycles with clomid. Clomid will stimulate follicle production so that you get more chances at a healthy egg each month. Just keep in mind that you do have a much higher miscarriage risk no matter what you do (even with IVF w/PGD). Might help to seek out a fertility counselor now so you have the support from that angle. Good luck!
