The McLean part of the Timber Lane is an island. FCPS has a strong history of eliminating islands the first opportunity they get.
Ha! More likely they take the extra kids rom Haycock and redistrict them to Timberlane.
That's even less likely. If anyone is likely to get moved to Timber Lane, it would be people now at Shrevewood.
The plan has been for part of Shrevewood to go to Lemon Road. They won't fill Lemon Road with the AAP center, so there will still be space. I would imagine they will still send part of Shrevewood there. Haycock is in the same high school pyramid as part of Timberlane so it would be much less disruptive to send the Haycock kids there. Of course, their parents will object vehemently and perhaps they will succeed -- although it will be hard when they complained so loudly about how overcrowded the school is and how horrible it will be during renovation. Doesn't matter to me. My child is finished with elementary school. It will be interesting to watch, though.
