I can't talk to friends about my child's progress, nor do I feel free to ask questions in the general parenting board as I will just be harassed because my problems are not the kind most face. But they are still there, and the challenges are somewhat harder as there is no defined community or programs in DC. For now, I am using other boards like hoagies, well-trained mind, or davisons, but it would be extremely useful to be able to use DCurbanmoms, especially if there is going to be a category associated with this type of issue.
